Born on 30 October 1972, in the serene village of Damanpur, Smt. Anupa Rekha grew up as the fifth of six children in a humble farming family. Her parents, Late Smt. Teresa and Late Sri Bourner, worked tirelessly to provide for their children’s education despite limited means.

Her determination and intellect shone early. She completed her primary education in her village, moved on to Nirmala High School for secondary education, and later attended St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, for her intermediate studies. She pursued her graduation at North Bengal University and earned a master’s degree from Nimdapur University.

With a passion for teaching, Smt. Anupa Rekha began her career at St. Nirmala Convent School, Damanpur, where she taught for two years, laying the foundation for her professional journey.

The Remarkable Journey of Sri Pascal Ekka

Born on 4 January 1970, in the same picturesque village of Damanpur, Sri Pascal Ekka was the fourth of six siblings in a family led by Late Smt. Mandini and Late Sri Anous Ekka. Like his wife, Pascal’s upbringing was marked by resilience and the unwavering support of his parents, who were determined to see their children succeed despite economic hardships.

Pascal’s educational journey took him from the village school to middle school in Nagrakata, followed by higher education at St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, and graduation from North Bengal University. An exceptional singer, he used his college years to release music in his regional language, touching many hearts.

In 1989, Pascal began his professional career with LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) after brief explorations of SSC and police service roles. His dedication and commitment have kept him with LIC ever since.
