St. Francis Academy, Kathalberia/Kestopur, is a Catholic Christian Minority Institution managed and administered by the Capuchin Fathers of St. Fidelis Province, North India (www.ofmcap.org), a charitable society registered under the Societies Registration Act No. XXI of 1960 and the West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961. It is a non-aided, co-educational institution, recognized by the Department of Education, West Bengal, and affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), New Delhi, which conducts public examinations under the Delhi School Education Act of 1973. The Capuchin Fathers of St. Fidelis Province manage several schools across North India, including St. Conrad’s Inter College, Agra (www.conrads.in), Hartmann College, Bareilly (www.hartmanncollege.org.in), and St. Fidelis College, Lucknow, among others, including St. Francis Academy, Motihar(www.francisacademy.com).
